    Unfairness. Thousands of peaceful people continue to suffer arrest, jail, criminal records, exclusion for pot — while cops & politicians who opposed legalization & ruined lives with the law are cashing in on legal weed, with no apology. Here’s a list of their names & companies.

    The smallest acts of kindness are the biggest possible comfort for the people being harmed by the criminal “justice” system.

    A first for me. Young woman. Never arrested before. Standing next to me. As always, back cuffed. She nudges me. “My nose itches really bad.” She looks at me. I look at her. The judge is looking at his computer. I scratch her nose. “Thanks,” she smiles. She’s released now.

    Still true. Still a deadly tragedy perpetuated by government laws.

    Dispensaries are important to the benefits of medical cannabis, including reduction of opioid related mortality. We are in a crisis and yet many provincial governments are trying to get rid of dispensaries. Which will kill people.

    I encourage you: Don’t be bitter or discouraged when people don’t do justice work just like you do. Are they are in a position to alleviate injustice, but from a different angle than you? Do you know true intent or are you projecting out of anxiety re: the state of humanity?

    If “Legalization” is not inclusive — if it excludes, criminalizes & punishes peaceful people — and restricts & limits access — and doesn’t address or remedy the injustice & harms of prohibition — then it is VERY flawed “Legalization”. That is not the Justice & Fairness we sought.
