Going to ruin the USA. All while gasping for breath on 100% Vapotherm. They tell you there must be another reason they are sick. They call you names and ask why you have to wear all that “stuff” because they don’t have COViD because it’s not real. Yes. This really happens. And
I can’t stop thinking about it. These people really think this isn’t going to happen to them. And then they stop yelling at you when they get intubated. It’s like a fucking horror movie that never ends. There’s no credits that roll. You just go back and do it all over again.

We went from Clinicians working a war zone in NYC - leaving shifts to empty streets and nightly 7PM citywide clapping --> to leaving shift in sunbelt to see ppl packed in restaurants (no claps)-->straight up harassment and conspiracy theories in vast areas in USA So Sorry
We can never sufficiently repay the healthcare workers.

"You just go back and do it all over again." And that is why I have such respect for the doctors and nurses we all rely on. I won't call you heroes, because "heroes" seems such a non-human concept. But you're pretty admirable human beings for being able to do what you do.

Why would you intubate these patients? That's like giving a liver transplant to an iv drug user that thinks Hepatitis C and B are myths, or a lung transplant to someone that smokes 3 packs of non-filtered cigarettes a day. It just doesn't make sense.
Yikes buddy, that’s not how the Hippocratic oath works. Choosing who lives or dies by your judgement of their life choices is a pretty scary path to go down.
