T does this to the vocal cords of females. It thickens the walls and changes the voice permanently. Some may have a slight reduction in the depth after some time off T, but this is a physiological chng. They're just trying to survive and share their stories, not sound pretty
-
Sure just like T does this to the vocal cords of mtfs going through their natural puberty before transitioning as well. However a fair amount if mtfs still manage to train their voices without surgery to sound female enough to pass.

My voice is this low and I am a female who has never taken testosterone. The person in the video sounds female to me. It reinforces gender norms to assert that this deepness of voice is somehow outside the normal range for women.
