wow waking up to some BGP madness! Looks like many (all) of @Cloudflare AS 13335 prefixes are being rerouted through AS396531 (Allegheny Technologies) and Verizon AS701 is providing that transit via that path! Ugh not good! will dig more ... #BGPleak

We do have no export community support and have done for many years. The use of more specifics is also optional. Neither replaces the need for filters.

Is “NO_EXPORT” set by default in your software? It would be wildly irresponsible to ship software where you generate fake more-specifics and don’t set NO_EXPORT, like you did last time I checked...

I quote from your own website https://www.noction.com/blog/do_route_optimizers_cause_fake_routes … “Noction IRP to give an option to tag all the more specific prefixes that it generates with the BGP NO_EXPORT community. THIS WILL NOT BE ENABLED BY DEFAULT” (emphasis mine). You’ve so far ignored my comments about this

There are many reasons to legitimately share routes between ASNs. Be it private to public or two public. Also, routers can and often do strip communities. It's not a 100% solution, but we do recommend it during deployments, where appropriate.

So your software is insecure by default. Got it!
