If you are in anyway involved in the comics industry (artist, writer, letterer, inker, publisher, retailer, etc, etc), you can start casting your votes for the Eisner Hall of Fame TODAY: http://www.eisnervote.com/ (You can see all nominee bios here: https://www.comic-con.org/awards/hall-of-fame-2018-nominees …).pic.twitter.com/VdoCn85XD1
I just now heard of the Eisner Hall of Fame and I already despise them just for this.
There are about 5 women in the Hall of Fame... and 100+ men, so I feel you.
I was so disappointed to see it was only a nomination again. I hope she gets it this time. She's got to be one of the most prolific mangaka with how much she's done.
Hopefully we can vote her through this year!!
I hope she wins!
Like many people, Salior Moon was my gateway to anime and manga. After Salior Moon I was obsessed with Rumiko Takahashi's work. I love Ranma 1/2.
This makes me mad. Ranma 1/2 was an integral text for my teenage bisexuality.
*stomps feet and claps hands* PUT RUMIKO IN THE HALL OF FAME
HER WORK IS ONE OF THE REASONS I GOT INTO COMICS AT ALL
