    The whole situation really tells you about how white supremacy works here (and everyone who upholds it consciously or unconsciously). If a "foreigner" fits certain white standards, they are psychologically primed to abandon the rest of their people. It's social grooming.

    Today in the US the concept of being Latinx and of being a POC are almost inextricable. It IS more complicated than "yes or no" with us because of centuries of intermarriage and cultural fusion making it more complex than "1/2 this, 1/2 that." But obvious white Latinxs DO abound.
