It's not about how they'll recover but how will the neighborhood go without it. Walgreens is one of the few places that take my insurance for meds so if they leave how do I get my medicine?

Wow almost like leaving life saving medicine and products in the control of for profit corporations has it's downsides.. Who could have foreseen this predicament. Something tells me they can continue to operate this store without impact to their bottom line.pic.twitter.com/pyQIa0extn

Absolutely but they won't bc they care more about shareholders than people. We need this whole medical complex fixed.

Okay.. So why are you worried about poor people commiting minor theft, and not the billionaire corporation that created and benefit from the system that generated that same poverty.

I'm not but stealing isn't a good thing and it's negative effects cascade. I definitely mentioned that the medical complex needs to be fixed so people aren't fighting for their basic needs.

Stealing from billionaires when you're poor is actually a great thing.

Until you end up in a for profit prison that makes you pay rent and you get stuck forever bc prisons pay pennies.

So you understand the cruelty of the system yet somehow still side with the oppressors?

There are no oppressors but people who failed at providing for themselves. Walgreens is a successful business which is entitled to make profits. We are praising thieves and losers now? .
