I'm surprised they took to the courts. Usually they just change the wording of the ballots target just enough to make the proposal invalid. or they go ahead and do what the proposal told them not to do.

Such nonsense. But a sidenote: this is a good reminder to FILL OUT THE WHOLE BALLOT, FOLKS. Can't even count how many Michiganders I've canvassed who thought voting straight ticket covered the Supreme Court as well. Elected by parties = candidates should be listed as such.
