Indeed. At least Leon wasn't trying to do anything with her. She just had a misunderstanding of how relationships work. Poor Leon.
It doesn't matter that he didn't encourage it, he didn't reject it entirely and he still let it happen (i.e they slept in the same bed together right after she asked for him to take her virginity) It didn't feel right and sadly my suspicions were correct

Also I'm not sure if you know my background but to tell someone who spent 4 years of her life being controlled by a pedo to simply "move on" is the problem. To be able to say that is privilege and ignorance at best and to not do anything against it is complicit

I do apologize for the misunderstanding. I didn't mean it like that. The "move on" part was more of reference to works of art/media that are great on their own but have horrible people behind it. I did not mean to harm anyone. I shall be more careful next time.

Truth. I did forget about that. Thank you for clearing that up. It's been quite some time since I watched it. I can give the benefit of the doubt for Leon as his character is not good at social confrontation. Only his character. Not the director's "vision".

Yea ty for listening to my points. I think the director did his best to make it just deliberately so everything could be given the benefit of the doubt. It met the minimum "not pedo" requirements too precisely and thus I had to look into it
