Thank you for pointing this out too. It’s a double edged sword though, like Tafo mentioned, it’s “safer” to hang with the celebs in the scene if you’re new. Because “they wouldn’t......” I equate it to the me too outings, who wouldn’t go hang out with Louis C.K.?

definitely agree- with both points of the double edged sword. it can be easier to be taken advantage of when you're newer. if a figurehead/top player approaches you, (no pun intended) no matter their intentions, you'll think it's the coolest thing in the world.
