Is there such thing as 'talent'?

Don't think there's much of a point in distinguishing between nurture / nature when talking about 'talent' - seems like a separate question
Well it would point to the idea that talent doesn't exist and all substantial advantages are granted by environment and upbringing.

Some people learn more quickly because they grew up getting good at learning. Others are genetically predisposed to learn quickly.

In other words, if "talent" is how quickly someone is able to learn, then I think both genetics and upbringing contribute to it.
