(Legitimate Question) what kind of state is Korea in that would make this kind of thing uncomfortable? I'm not a k-pop fan so I genuinely don't know what kind of stigmas are attached.

Korean culture has largely been super conservative/backwards and heavily misogynistic. Kpop/hallyu is already super gross and problematic in a lot of ways (eg. Seungri scandal) and it's obvious gamers have a srs problem fetishizing azn girls

This goes for infiltration's case too (eg. Korean police failure in protecting women) Even if leo/whoever doesn't get the brevity of it, ppl still need to be held accountable. The world is still backwards but taking a stand even when it's "not cool" is the first step
