      I read through the replies, but generally speaking art is evolving to become very smooth-faced, simpler, cuter and easier to digest. Compare older animes to now-- it's everywhere

      It is still apparent in pokemon imo, look at the alolan universe or even the evolution of pikachu-- but in general I only speak up if I see a trend in art at large
