You're totally right. I think the predator issue unfortunately comes down to laziness. Its *hard* to comb through evidence and allegations, or to admit that someone you respected isn't a good person. It's not that hard to ban the random who committed assault on video.

I doubt it’s laziness. I do agree it’s harder to comb through evidence and allegations. There’s a lot of he said/she said in it. I noticed in many cases they try to prove the suspect is a “bad” person, but a shitty person =/= a sexual predator. So a lot of “evidence” is dismissed

If we're gonna agree on something, it's that sexual assault and claims thereof are a lot more complicated AND A LOT MORE SERIOUS. And because of this, we must put even more effort in dealing with cases involving sexual assault victims.
