I've been struggling a lot mentally, but something happened this past weekend where thoughts of trauma resurfaced. I want to deny that these thoughts still exist, but I've come to terms w/ the fact that I'm never going to get better unless I share this:https://jackiechoe.wordpress.com/2018/08/19/recovery/ …

One thing if you don't mind a suggestion, though you're potentially already doing something like it. In my life, I overcome my funks through a model of emergent design within consistent timeboxing. (3/3)

I "design" a change I want in my life, implement the smallest "min viable product" (MVP) of it daily & consistently. As I feel able I expand the MVP & evolve it over time. It's based on my field, software engineering. Tho I bet an artist may still derive something from it. (2/3)

Good luck, and however you're trying to change I'd wager it best to be either consistent with some of your time when you're not inspired or inspired with your time when you're not consistent, but ideally both. (1/3 * 'cuz it's probably most important)
