Let them lead and pay the way for a change. The agreement would accomplish nothing but to take more out of our overextended treasury.

If we do that, foreign companies will own the patent rights to new green technology, which they will profit from, rather than US companies.

It's not a treaty, so the Senate didn't have to ratify it. It's a non-binding agreement that Trump could have ignored without pulling out.
