The supplemental package allowed Border Patrol to increase the capacity of the Donna Holding Facility. But expanding space is not enough. We have to address the underlying problems: -More ICE beds -Fix Flores decision -Reform asylum laws -Build the Wallpic.twitter.com/29M5jsg1Y6

Border Patrol took us to the border itself, including a boat patrol of the Rio Grande River. We saw Mexican government authorities patrolling. Border Patrol told us this was a direct result of the Trump Administration’s efforts to work with Mexico.pic.twitter.com/OlLqDU5kZW

Or we could release the non-criminals (w/o separating the children) until their court date & let them or their own families provide food, shelter & medical treatment instead of us, freeing up money for more judges to hear their cases properly.

A majority never come back for court..how do you NOT know this? Yes, thst would be ideal..but that WAS and has bn tje problem..they go bk to lufe as normal w/o ever goin to court, until- a raid..it breaks my heart, n not just 4 the kids..for the whole family
