The American people want to know how many citizens are in our country. And they deserve to know. We’ve asked the citizenship question in the past. Democrats played games and manufactured a controversy. But this shouldn’t be controversial.

Your own people made it clear that the purpose of this question was suppressing votes of minority citizens. So, please don't pretend that it had anything to do with counting citizens, data which is otherwise available.

It is absolutely important to know how many Americans are in our Country. It should also be required to know how many aliens are in the USA illegally. Let the deportations begin...

I don’t want to live in a country where law enforcement can demand proof of citizenship from anyone at any time. That happened in Germany in the 30’s and 40’s, and that is where we are headed.

70 yrs ago was the last time. The U.S. Constitution (Art. I, Sect. 2) states that every 10 yrs EVERY LIVING PERSON will be counted for the census. EVERY LIVING PERSON means citizen or non-citizen. Purpose of the census: Determines # of congress. seats & $$ for schools, roads, etc
