CAN NOT TRUST A 18 YEAR OLD WITH GUN BUT CAN TRUST A 16 YEAR OLD WITH A VOTE um I SAY DEMS HAVE BRAIN WASHING DOWN TO A ART AND UNITE UNDER LIES NO MATTER WHO KNOWS IT IS A LIE WINNING AT ALL COST. I SAY CIVIL WAR IS AROUND CORNER

16 year olds understand civics and remember US history more than most. Many have jobs and pay taxes. Voting rights makes more sense to me than driving. I’d hold off on guns until 21 when brains & decision making skills are more developed

Maybe the Democrats can offer them free gaming systems to help them decide who to vote for!

If they can vote at 16 they can drink alcohol at 16 they can buy guns at 16 and they can join the military at 16 they can go to jail like an adult and sentenced like an adult

I believe that one's old enough to vote if they're old enough to fight overseas for our country. And I don't see the Democrats filing a Constitutional Amendment to lower the enlistment age to 16. People not old enough to join the military should have no say in politics.

By that logic the only people who should have a say in politics are those who serve. If you're going to base a standard off of what they can do then the standard must adhere to if they are within that standard.

Last year republicans introduced a bill to make silencer legalpic.twitter.com/FbXRTepwqK

I’m willing to guarantee that your understanding of “silencers” is derived from Hollywood movies.

I voted at 19 in 1972 for the federal election and I now wish it was raised back to 21. 16 is far too young.

You must have accidentally voted for Nixon, right?
