So we should entrust 16 year olds (who a large portion dont pay taxes, rent, buy food, have an insurance bill, etc) to elect public officials who make policies/legislation that will affect things such as how much $ the gov steals from me and whether I can carry a gun.. Hard Pass!

I hope that Bill fails! Instead, propose: - Raise voting age to 21 - No federal employees allowed to work the polls - Absolutely NO taxpayer $$$ to finance campaigns!

I agree NY official just okayed abortion up to 9 months, and now they want children to be able to vote. My kids only know what i yell at my tv. Lol they're 23 & 18 i say keep it at 35 at least live a little first. At16 you still live at home. Ridiculous logic for votes.
