I did like Affleck as Batman. The most physically believable of all the Batman actors and he also looked like the Jim Aparo depiction of the character. But he clearly wanted to move on following his experiences making those 2 films.

He didn’t make my favourite Batman movies but his depiction was excellent, a Batman that was physically intimidating and dark. Such a shame it had that impact on him. We all have our demons and the last thing needed is that our work triggers them.

I think the fact that he’s said that someone told him his Batman script was good but he’d drink himself to death trying to make it speaks volumes.

Affleck was my literal dream casting as Bruce and I’m happy for what we’ve got and that we’re getting more...but yeah. He lost interest. He’s done. Looking forward to Pattinson!!
