Reading up on the legend of Robin Hood. He's like the first comic book character, where his origin continually gets tweaked by different writers, retcons, supporting characters added so much later you can't imagine the saga without them. But the staples have always been there.pic.twitter.com/p6k6Lke5pl

Gah, not the time of Richard III. My bad. Richard the Lionheart. Sorry! (And, yes, I know this is Prince John.)pic.twitter.com/G4ld1XppK6

The 1950's show had him as a crusader as well. Grew up watching it. Regardless of that, there are texts and pictures as early as 1500 that place robin hood as a Crusader and mounted yeoman. Like King Aruthur before him, his legends have changed drastically to what we have now.

I think the Richard Greene show is on Disney+ so I will definitely watch that after my re-watch of Robin of Sherwood. :)
