    Reading up on the legend of Robin Hood. He's like the first comic book character, where his origin continually gets tweaked by different writers, retcons, supporting characters added so much later you can't imagine the saga without them.         For example, several modern versions have leaned into Robin being a former crusader (or being set during the time of Richard III) and adding a Saracen character. But it was the '80s show Robin of Sherwood that 1st did that. The rest have ripped it off without credit.pic.twitter.com/91ev9K8SiZ

        Ridley Scott's original take was going to be from the Sherrif of Nottingham's perspective. That would have been new perspective, sad it didn't happen.
