Curious, usually when I envision Shakespeare’s Henry V, and Hal’s journey, I’m reminded of Machiavelli’s diabolical treatise “The Prince. “ The choices he makes, the exclusions, they go hand in hand.

Yet, this reshaping of Henry V, I find most refreshing. Brilliant casting of Flagstaff and Hal. I enjoy their interaction/guidance in the story. Hal comes across more human and less pretentious as previously depicted in other period pieces

And Robert Pattinson’s portrayal of the narcissistic, cruel prince was well done. I loved the tent scene offset by Flagstaff. I also enjoyed prequel to the fight, and the battle itself.

The only downside, if only a little, was the ending. It felt like there was supposed to be another scene after. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
