@JimVejvoda reading the article it seems to me Disney wanted to finance the movie 50/50 and then split the profits 50/50. If i read that correctly i see that as a partnership opposed to some who are calling Disney greedy -

Ha! A heck of an understatement! As a Trekkie, I too follow Paramount’s overall success. Their journey over the last decade or so has been like watching the runt of the litter earnestly try to stand on all fours repeatedly... Only for a bigger pup to push them over each time.
