    Today I've sent an open letter on behalf of over forty Labour councillors from across West urging to join the many other councils opposing the Government’s insistence on the wider re-opening of schools on 1 June. The risks to our communities can't be overstated.

    Great to see Labour Groups around the area seizing this opportunity to gain some benefit from the awful consequences of Covid-19

    In March, official Govt advice stated it was "unlikely" that care home residents would get infected. Since then, thousands have sadly passed away. raised this in Parliament today but the Prime Minister denied it was ever Govt advice. The record must be corrected.
