America has an ambitious future in space exploration. We will use the same courage and ingenuity displayed 50 years ago in Apollo 13 to propel #Artemis forward. Excellent timing. Parallels certainly can be drawn between that mission and ours now to survive COVID-19. We will preserve! #Artemis

I see it as what we can do in zero amount of time when everything matters. We should look to this as a symbol not of failure but of monumental achievements made by the most dedicated people we need to channel this spirit right now and work our way out of this covid19 spot

Ex Luna, Scientia. Apollo XIII had Odyssey & Aquarius as its Lifeboats, while Artemis will have a HALOwPPE MPCV GLS & HLS (xCygnus, Orion, DragonXL, Eagel2* [CODE]) as Lifeboats.🖐️☺️👍 ¹https://www.flickr.com/photos/nasa2explore/9351240567/in/album-72157634763368953/ … ²https://www.flickr.com/photos/nasa2explore/9351248759/in/album-72157634763368953/ … ³⁴https://www.nasa.gov/specials/artemis/ … ¹🖼️²🖼️ ³🖼️⁴🖼️pic.twitter.com/AvZR2mQj8z

America’s courage and ingenuity is not in question, it is our leadership that is. Our leaders seem to be weak, self serving and indecisive. Not sure they have the courage to take the risk and make the hard decisions that gave us the Apollo era

I wish Artemis would be more than just flags and footprints but at the expected launch cost of SLS this is likely not going to happen. Still better than nothing I suppose.

Artemis is literally designed around Gateway. It isn't a "flag and footprints" program.
