  4. 35 years ago today, Larry Bird hit a game-winning buzzer beater against Portland, an impossible fadeaway from behind the backboard. He finished with 48 points. In Boston’s very next game, 2 nights later, Bird hit ANOTHER game-winning buzzer beater, this time taking down Detroit.
