I know wrong when I hear and see. I also believe hate is taught in life some intentional by parents but some by subtle mistakes in our written literature. Be Careful we have a great chance to end generational division. Make difference embrace the Rescue Plan!!

Yep. Sometimes dumb and unfunny strips like Mallard Fillmore just aren't worth the cash being paid. It's not so much censorship of unorthodox ideas, it's just the market dictating what draws subscribers. As this piece states.

I'm surprised it ran as long as it did. The problem with conservative "comedy" is that none of it lands. It simply isn't funny.

Same the world over: "This notion that there’s suddenly a liberal wave of intolerance out there badly misreads history. This nation has seen decades of backlash against provocative views."

I can laugh at jokes about liberals. I though many Bill Clinton jokes were hilarious. But 95 times out of 100, Mallard Fillmore just isn’t funny, or it’s just plain nasty, but I have no desire for it to be canceled. I just don’t care.

I haven’t thought of Mallard Filmore in decades and assumed it got canceled years ago because it’s never been funny

'Mallard Fillmore' and the comical side of cancel culture. 'Doonesbury' has already been there.
