Shocked that a right-wing yutz would be making excuses for suspending an account for criticizing someone else's antisemitism.

Maybe we're just not supposed to mention Rowling's racism?

Another possibility. One user we know was banned for telling off Courtney Love after she went on an Islamophobic rant against Linda Sarsour.

But this isn't happening algorithmically. It's being done manually by people reporting the tweets and Twitter mods penalizing the authors. I can type goy a hundred times and it won't get autoflagged.

I’m a goy and I’ve never felt weird being identified as one. I know it’s possible to make it feel mean, but I know it’s literally the term for non-jews. People shouldn’t be suspended for it when there are actual nazis on this platform.

I mean, it identifies her as not part of a religious/ethnic/national group — and maybe it’s arguable that is a form of ethnic labeling — but where’s the promoting violence, threat or harassment? Does Twitter really want to censor just for calling out antisemitism?
