  also i feel like this was 100% my problem growing up i was literally raised to believe that independence wasnt okay and then i had the people i’d become codependent on abandon me as a punishment and it took a lot of learning to realise that was their issue and not mine

  I have this one friend who is married, her & her husband’s interests are like chalk and cheese, they both do their own thing (she still goes overseas for 6+wks each year with her friends) then you see them together & they’re still SO in love & it’s like everything i want in life.

  Pablo & I are co-dependent af but also value our independence. Sometimes feels like others are threatened, to the point they want to call us out on our ability to lead our own lives & exist with each other. I don’t think it’s being one or the other It’s managing a healthy balance
