“I went from being a fit, active, successful and financially secure professional in the prime of life to a broken — and broke — person... COVID kills some people outright; many of us with #longCOVID are dying, too —just very slowly and painfully.”

I think the point of all this is to keep everyone distracted from climate change by constant war, until about 2030 when it's very obviously too late.

"The quiet screams, but I refuse to listen. If there is a hell. I'm sure this is how it smells. Wish this were a dream, but no, it isn't." Damn, if you want to learn how to write, listen to music that bleeds.

If everyone wore N95 masks for two or three weeks, we would be in a much different place than we are now. There would be less sick people and, therefore, less disruptions to the economy.

I don't understand why we can't make masks at least mandatory in places like grocery stores. We keep reinfecting each other with Covid and the flu and cold bugs. And we don't need to. It's so senseless.

It's time to be very clear. Covid is worse than ever, and our governments have capitulated to crooks and cooks. A girl went to the hospital with a broken leg and wound up having to get it amputated due to neglect. This is a reality now. Believe it.

A 12-year-old girl had to have her leg amputated because a hospital left her unattended for 10-12 hours, staff either too busy or just too burned out and indifferent to bother. Is this dystopian enough for everyone?

The current state of American healthcare. 12 yo has to have leg amputated because after arriving at ED for broken leg, the staff ignores her for 12 hrs until avascular necrosis sets in. 😭 ktla.com/news/family-of

There's a new thing out there, and it's called source trolling. Someone will blow right past your references to books, links, and collections of articles. Without even thinking about the plausibility or context of your argument, they'll say, "Where's your evidence?"

"I don't see why I should be careful about stepping in bird poop given how few cases of avian flu there have been around the world." In case you wondered if people are going to downplay every single threat we encounter now...

We're being conditioned to accept total personal responsibility for our health because the government doesn't believe it can manage the threats coming at us now. There's just too many.

Student loans are hilarious. I’m a doctor, therefore amongst the most reliably employed, reasonably well earning graduates. I’ve been paying my loan every month for 6 years, I currently have >5k more debt than I graduated with (now nearly 70k)

A domestic cat was found to have been infected with bird flu, and ultimately euthanised after suffering severe neurological symptoms. It is the first case of its kind in France. connexionfrance.com/article/French
