BREAKING: In a rare bipartisan win, the Senate just voted to include the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act in the omnibus spending package. The amendment passed 73 to 24.
This has been a years-long fight to guarantee basic accommodations for pregnant workers. It's a very big deal.

If you are at a North Carolina precinct polling place in the county you are registered in and find out it is the WRONG polling place for you, but you can’t get to the correct precinct to be in line by 7:30pm, you can stay where you are and ask for a provisional ballot. #ncpol

I was so moved to see Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson confirmed this afternoon. Like so many of you, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride—a sense of joy—to know that this deserving, accomplished Black woman will be a part of the highest court in the land.

Today, lynching is finally… finally… a hate crime.
Antilynching legislation was first introduced over a century ago. It failed to pass over 200 times.
Thank you for making this long overdue correction to the Hate Crimes Act. #EmmettTillAntiLynchingAct
