    This is Paul Davis. Paul is a lawyer. He’s also associate general counsel & director of human resources at Goosehead Insurance. Today he stormed the capitol building in an attempt to stage a coup against the US government and documented it (!) on Instagram.

    They literally had civil war t-shirts with yesterday’s date on them & their leader flat out said to go down there & fight. Multiple times yesterday and as early as before Christmas, but okay.

    You can’t say they didn’t know this was coming.

    On January 6, armed Trumpist militias will be rallying in DC, at Trump's orders. It's highly likely that they'll try to storm the Capitol after it certifies Joe Biden's win. I don't think this has sunk in yet.

    There's video of a senator saying Hitler had one thing right! Multiple terrorists in the Capitol wore gear, invoking Auschwitz and other WWII atrocities. Make no mistake. These people are Nazis, through and through, and that means they are a mortal threat to our Jewish friends.

    I’m glad my timeline is full of people calling out the GOP & their supporters & acknowledging white privilege. But we need to do a better job calling out antisemitism. Remember, multiple people were elected in November who have outright praised Nazism. 🤬 It hasn’t gone away.

    IDK like as a citizen of this country I demand charges be brought against the terrorists who stormed and ransacked our capitol building, brought zip ties intending to take our elected officials hostage, placed explosives nearby, and interrupted our election certification process.
