When politicians use faith as an excuse to pass and uphold laws that seize control of people’s bodies but not guarantee them healthcare, feed the poor, shelter the homeless, or welcome the stranger, you have to wonder if it’s really about faith at all.
It is by our works in faith, NOT by the government to help those in need. God is not the government. WE as people, as followers of Christ, are to help those in need. Not the government. Our taxes are not tithes. As for "people's bodies" - what about the baby's body?

I am and I will continue to do so. And I will continue to be vocal about us, the people, as the body of Christ, as the people who make up the church needing to rise up and get involved and not continue to hand our calling over to the government.

So why aren't the rich "christians" in the GOP helping those in need? Poverty is everywhere while the rich hoard their wealth. They own multiple houses and literally said the poor should die for the stock market! They could at least stop pretending to follow Christ.
