Unfortunately, people who aren't paid living wages can't make that purchase and fund the work those homes need. That's the problem. Also, police in Wilmington were not "defunded." In fact, funding increased from FY2020 to FY2021 in both dollars and as a percentage of the budget.pic.twitter.com/20OI19bGJ5
