Back in September, when I was first talking with a few core team members about our campaign priorities, we all shared similar thoughts.

We wanted to run a campaign that focused on directly talking to voters about the issues they care about, particularly folks who usually don’t hear from candidates.

We wanted to train up new organizers and give them the space and tools to grow.

And we wanted to run a campaign that represents our beliefs and values, no matter what else was happening around us.

Looking back on the past 10 months, I’m proud that we stuck to our campaign priorities.

Despite COVID disrupting our canvassing plans, we’ve made over 1 million phone calls and knocked over 40 thousand doors.

We’ve recruited and trained dozens of first-time volunteers to take on organizing and leadership roles within the campaign.

And throughout everything, we’ve stuck to our message: that we can guarantee every person a good standard of living.

No matter what, this fight continues.
