The Biden campaign’s new climate plan calls for $2T in clean energy investment in 4 yrs & 100% clean electricity by 2035. But my opponent (and Biden surrogate) still only offers a carbon tax that takes 12 yrs to reduce emissions by 40%. We don’t have time for his small ideas.
Biden’s plan needs to be pushed further, but it at least sees the scale of the problem. Sen. Coons says climate change is an existential threat and then proposes a plan that fails to save us. We need a Green New Deal. Candidates who oppose it aren’t the leaders for this moment.
