When their is such a split in Congresd numbers, you make dome compromises to get what you want.
Why, particularly in a year where we've decided it's of utmost importance to defeat Trump and the Republicans, would we vote for Democrats whose primary promise is to compromise with them?

What is anyone getting? The Dems and Republicans pretend to be on opposite sides and then "compromise" in order to give more taxpayer money to their corporate donors. They are all the ruling class and we are serfs.
