Sen. Coons has probably done more for chicken farmers than any other member of the Senate (founded the Senate Chicken Caucus), which is likely why local farmers tend to support his campaigns. To insinuate he bears responsibility for this outbreak is ludicrous.
There are over 40 cases of COVID-19 at a DE Mountaire plant. Mountaire is a big donor to the National Chicken Council. NCC is a big donor to Chris Coons. Chris Coons has done nothing for the mostly Latino workers at Mountaire’s unsafe plant.
