I’m trying to get my absentee ballot. I just moved here from Oregon, a vote by mail state, so I’m a little thrown off haha. What should I select as my reason to not go to my polling place if I’m choosing an absentee ballot?
Welcome to Delaware! First, definitely ask your state rep and state senator to support HB 175 so we can get vote by mail here.
As for absentee, you can choose "sick" as your reason. If you need more info, let us know or this graphic can help, too!

Ok. Thank you for your help! Vote by mail is so important for access and fighting voter suppression, and I’m a big proponent of it! I hope it will be permanent in DE and someday nationally.
