The populist uprisings in the years to come are likely to make the Trump/Bernie era look like a picnic. Corporate political leaders in Congress are destabilizing our country and their children and grandchildren's future. What they do or don't do now will be highly consequential.
If we made the programs that center and protect people our norm, we wouldn’t have to scramble to enact them in a crisis.
