My husband and I are still able to work remotely for now, but we both work in services that require clients. I worry about what happens, if our clients no longer need or can afford those services.

Projecting here: I suspect the best option for many would be a combination of debt forgiveness and basic income. Forgive student, medical, and tax debt; suspend mortgage and rent payments; and provide basic income to keep the economy moving from the bottom up.
