.... our current social programs are means tested. Emergency payments cannot be used as a reason to boot people off those programs.

If it isn't for all of the working class, it is partisan BS! Get with the program, a way to divide the bottom half of the country.

I’m not following. I’m simply saying that payments from the govt should not be included in the formula for providing social services. Of course means tested programs are not the answer, but they’re what we have right now and we need to protect people from losing those services.
