That employee should have a claim for administrative leave, under State law.
A coworker’s friend recently traveled to China for work. Upon his return his employer forced him to take 3 weeks of UNPAID leave. Three weeks without pay would cripple most people. Coronavirus lays bare how fragile our system is & our need for a much stronger social safety net.

Why aren’t our elected officials doing something about this? Can they offer some sort of temporary unemployment benefit? Can they force companies to pay employees who are impacted through no fault of their own? This is so wrong and heartless.
