i routinely max out my dentist insurance every year, and i still have thousands of dollars in carecredit charges to pay off for it
Check out this very cool bill I just got from my dentist that’s apparently already 90 days past due and offers no explanation as to why my insurance didn’t cover all the charges. It’s a wonderful system!

I'm impressed that your dentist appears to be "covered". My guy (been going there since I was born) has never been "in network" through five or six insurance companies. My bill is usually 3x that

Medicare for All is completely about choice. Under Medicare for All, you can go to any doctor, dentist, etc. of your choosing.

I went to the same dentist for almost 10 years. My company changed health plans and I went thinking if it didn’t work with them they would tell me. I gave them my card they took care of me. Then sent me a $500 bill. They said sorry we didn’t realize we couldn’t accept it. I paid.

That’s the choice we always hear about at work! You can CHOOSE to pay the bill or go to collections.
