i remember running into more than 5 people who told me this on the few days before election day for Kerri in 2018 :(
This weekend, I encountered another voter who told me she couldn't vote due to a felony. The law preventing felons who served their time from voting was changed in *2013* Who is telling these people that they can't vote? And what is the state of Delaware doing to rectify this?

Well I was canvassing in Texas in 2018 I met at least seven people who thought that the law in our state was the permanent felon disenfranchisement in states like Iowa. Pretty much nobody knows that in Texas if you’re off of parole/probation you’re allowed to vote again

So there’s a lot of disinformation going around generally and the different laws in different states don’t help things, but it would be really good to try and educate as many people about the rights as possible

I got some ex felons to register when canvassing on West side of Wilmington before. I hope that more peoplepeople find out that they can vote!
