A few days ago, Planned Parenthood in Newark was the target of an attack. Thankfully no one was hurt, but this is just one act out of many meant to terrorize women seeking health care. @PPFA provides critical health care services to millions of Americans each year for little to no cost, but clinics throughout the country have been a frequent targets of attacks, and Republicans have taken every chance possible to demonize and defund them.
Congress must continue providing crucial funding for @PPFA, and we must continue to defend the constitutional right for everyone to have freedom and control of their own body.
No one should ever be shamed or terrorized for getting the healthcare they need.
