Last week a Latino voter told me, “make sure every Latino knows about this” in reference to my support for #Medicare4All.
In 2018, 19% of Hispanic Delawareans were uninsured. That is almost 3x the average rate in the state.
With Medicare for All that number would drop to 0.
It’s a huge disparity! While Latinos make up about 9% of the total state population, they represent almost 25% of the uninsured population. We can fix this and ensure all of us get the healthcare we deserve without fear of crippling debt.
