    This is a mind-bending interpretation of libel law as it applies to social media. In short, a story that as a matter of law was *not* published with actual malice can be bootstrapped into a plausible libel lawsuit by a reporter tweeting the story *after* the lawsuit was filed.

    I was sued for defamation for speaking out against my abuser. His attorney subpoenaed my Twitter DM's which were full of messages from his other victims, victims of other's abuse confiding in me... I don't believe he ever got them. But it's not because twitter refused.

    US’s last strike in Kabul, killed 10 people, the youngest was only 2 years old. Why did this happen? Because all our modern war technology with an insatiable apitite for data to feed error prone “AI” couldn’t distinguish between water bottles and explosives.

    From 2013-2016 I investigated the U.S. drone war, identified and filmed whistleblowers like Heather L, , and traveled to to interview airstrike survivors. It's heartbreaking how relevant our film NATIONAL BIRD is today:

    Between the first reported U.S. drone strike in Afghanistan in October 2001 to the last one of this long war, almost 20 years have passed. The reporting is finally catching up. I commend the team for this excellent and important investigation.
